One Month

Well readers, it’s about one month to go until I arrive in Norway. I have left my job and our cars are going to be sold soon. Packing is going slowly. Sorting through everything is hard work. I have to pick and choose what to take and it’s taking forever. I have collections of things such as Japanese magazines and plush Stitch toys from Disney. I can’t part with those. But I literally have made piles of crap I don’t need on the floor. My home looks like a disaster. The unorganized clutter and lack of control around me is aggravating me.

Alas, I have a Christmas tree. This is the one area of my house that I feel comfortable in right now. I light candles and hang out near my colorful lit up tree. It reminds me that feeling uncomfortable is okay but I can find solace.

  1. Hi. I wish there was something I could do. There is nothing wrong in wanting to be around the Christmas tree. When the lights twinkle I tend to focus on them for a while and meditate. Then the rest will come into play.
